Magic Stone
She claimed she was a magician. He said, "You cannot be".
She insisted and made it rain cats and dogs. Then for good measure she turned an innocent passerby into a kicking jackass. "See" she said furious with rage, "I am, I can, I do!"
He remained unconvinced merely smiling at her obvious frustration. He clicked his fingers turning her to stone. And for a millennia there she remained.
After this age, when he returned to free her, she made to open her mouth, he made to click his fingers. She said nothing. Wiser for years of saying nothing.
