Memento Moment

If I walk away from this moment it will be left unattended and may do something unexpected. So I shall not leave. I shall remain exactly as I appear before it now. Drinking in the moment I shall keep it with me forever and no let it go for anyone. Of course, there always is an except and the except here is that this moment is not exclusively mine to do with as I please.

Negotiations to the sole rights of this particular moment cannot go well as I am unsure as who it may rightly belong. Legitimate claims could be many but I claim it because I think it came to me first. It wants to belong to me.

But no, it is gone and I only have the vaguest of memories of it.
